Beneficiation of Low-Grade Dilband Iron Ore by Reduction Roasting

This research is aimed at the up-gradation of indigenous Pakistani iron ore, i.e., Dilband ore (hematite), by utilizing common metallurgical processes. First, magnetic properties were determined. Initially, samples contained 34 wt. % Fe in addition to other gangue materials. Therefore, was subjected a high-temperature reduction roasting process between 800 °C and 1000 °C. Additionally, separation also employed. The influence different parameters, such as time, coal-to-ore ratio, temperature, examined. followed characterization techniques using XRD (X-ray diffraction analysis), Rietveld method, wet chemistry analysis, VSM (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer). results suggest an excellent 900 for coal/ore ratio 20 %, which achieved within 2 h process. concentration increased tremendously from 56 conjunction, induced (1.5 emu). recovery found be substantial when content 75 %. economic feasibility processed studied, extensive analysis
